President: Bolivia in talks on Gazprom's investments

JOHANNESBURG, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Bolivia is in preliminary negotiations with Russian gas giant Gazprom on possible investment, President Luis Arce told PRIME on Friday.

"There are preliminary negotiations, so that Gazprom could return to the country and invest," Arce said.

Gazprom and Bolivia's YPFB signed an agreement for exploration of three blocks in Bolivia in 2016, but cooperation did not advance during the presidency of Jeanine Anez.
